Matchmaker training

The Studio, end to end.

Everything you need to run a client from application to a great first date — and how the console does the heavy lifting so you can focus on people.

A 15-minute walkthrough · follow along in the live Preview console.
What we'll cover

Six things by the end.

Getting in

Two ways to open the Studio.

Real

Your email + password against the live system. Your admin sets you up; you can reset your own password anytime.

Practice

Preview the console

The "Preview the console (demo)" button loads example clients — nothing is saved. Perfect for learning without touching real people.

Prefer a cooler look? Hit Theme in the header to switch palettes — it remembers your choice.
The lay of the land

Three areas, that's it.

💡 Click + New to add a client, or a name on the left to open them.
The pipeline

A client moves through statuses.

🧭 Your status filter is your to-do list — see Team-Workflow.md for who owns which stage.
The client · Profile tab

What we match on.

✍️ Nothing here is set in stone — you own the profile, not the AI. Fix anything that reads wrong.
The client · Timeline tab

Where they are, at a glance.

The Progress strip and Timeline show every milestone — Applied, Consultation analyzed, In the pool, Match suggested, Introduced, On a date. It's the same story the client sees in their member area, so you're always on the same page.

📌 Glance here first on any client — it tells you what needs to happen next.
The client · Consultations tab

Turn a conversation into a profile.

1 · Consent

Always first

Confirm the client consents to recording. No consent → take written notes instead. Never record secretly.

2 · Capture

Audio or transcript

Upload the recording (we transcribe it) or paste the transcript straight in.

3 · Analyze

Claude drafts it

The AI turns the conversation into the structured profile — interests, traits, love languages, dealbreakers.

4 · Review

You clean it

Read it, fix anything it misread, and set the client Active. That's the hand-off to matching.

Not every client gets a sit-down

Two intake paths.

📖 The full question set (and how deep to go by tier) is in Consultation-Question-Bank.md.
The client · Matches tab

The engine ranks; you choose.

⚙️ Two passes: a fast filter, then weighted scoring — plus a semantic "story" read blended in.
The best button in the app

"Explain score" — why they fit.

🎯 Read this before every introduction — it's your talking points for "why you two."

Does the score actually work?

🔒 Admins only. Review monthly (~30 min) — see Team-Workflow.md → Admin.

Managing the team.

How the job actually feels

Your daily rhythm.

The non-negotiables

Keep it safe, keep it private.

You're ready

Go be the person you'd want choosing your match.

Open the Preview console and click around — it's the fastest way to get comfortable. Nothing you do there is real, so poke everything.
